  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies to drive business growth, enhance margins, and promote cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist in providing strategic purchasing input and support to the Business Development team.
  • Facilitate SRM activities to steer the creation of commodity strategies and cost reduction plans.
  • Identify and establish new supply chains as necessary to align with business goals.
  • Contribute to developing commercial models and pricing proposals for bid submissions.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with Clients and Account/Business Development Managers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Analyze product item information and cleanse excel data for creating requests for quotations.
  • Generate quotations, communicate with suppliers, and expedite quotations to meet deadlines.
  • Interpret supplier quotations and follow up on any missing details.
  • Input a large volume of pricing data into commercial excel documents with accuracy.
  • Take ownership of tasks until completion.
  • Provide concise actionable information to the buyers.
  • Assist buyers in handling client requests promptly.
  • Support operational supply function in resolving issues.
  • Cultivate valuable relationships with cross-functional departments and suppliers.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the purchasing process daily while maintaining compliance and efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process enhancements.

  • Effective and confident communicator with all stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
