Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Sales function, driving business growth through the implementation of effective business and sales strategies. You will report directly to the Managing Director and have the flexibility to work remotely or from the office.
Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities
- Develop and lead our marketing strategy
- Drive pipeline growth in strategic markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers
- Prepare and present compelling proposals
- Close orders within the required timeframe
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless execution of new projects
Essential Skill Requirements
- Experience in the industrial sectors
- Familiarity with injection moulding and contract manufacturing
- Ability to read and understand customer RFQ/URS documentation
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- High standard of written and verbal communication, with a confident and professional manner
- Customer-focused, with a can-do and agile attitude
- Natural sales approach with a technical mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
