PROJECT MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL - BROMELY/LONDON BASED - UP TO £50K


Hunter Mason are looking for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client, a well established, privately owned construction company based in Bromley to join their London Team.

They will be site based around London with access to their Head Officein Bromley.


As Project Manager, you'll be expected to oversee and manage all phases of building construction or maintenance projects, including on-site personnel, materials, equipment and sub-contractors ensuring that construction activities and contractors follow theright specifications, and that work is done safely, on time and within budget.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitmentsand goals.


Key responsibilities will include:

- leading the planning and implementation of project
- facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- defining project tasks and resource requirements
- developing full scale project plans
- assembling and coordinating project staff
- managing project budget
- planning and scheduling project timelines
- tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
- constantly monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- implementation and management of project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- project evaluations and assessment of results

Education, Qualifications and Experience
- knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- direct work experience in a project management capacity
- proven experience in people management
- proven experience in strategic planning
- proven experience in risk management
- proven experience in change management
- proficient in project management software

  • Contributing to teamwork working with clients, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors building on trust, honesty and building in support mechanisms to support colleagues in their tasks.
  • Use of Microsoft suite of Office programmes.
  • The ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Experience with multiple types of construction projects.
  • Valid driving licence.
