This is an exciting new role for a non-clinical or clinical member of staff who is passionate about improving health outcomes for children, young people and families and embraces the use of new ways of work and digital technology to improve reach and accessibility of services.
This role we develop our existing young people and parent text chathealth service, use of social media and website provision across our suite of health for websites (teen, kids and under 5's), our Healthy Child app and Walsall Healthcare webpages.
You will have- excellent IT skills, organisational and communications skills.
- a sound understanding of the children's public health agenda, health priorities and high impact areas
- A sound knowledge of information governance and risk management
- Ability to analyse data and produce reports for performance and commissioning reporting
Children, young people, their parents and carers are increasing manage their lives through the use of technology from online banking to shopping and communication with family and friends; this now needs to be cohesively integrated into their healthcare.
We are looking for a digital lead to support on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-19 years digital offer.
- further engage and empower with children, young people, their parents and carers to use digital technology that is age appropriate and comfortable to them.
- Support staff through training and engagement work to integrate existing digital technology 'Health for' suite of websites, parent and young people's chathealth, social media accounts and use of technologies including Accrux
- Embed and maintain the digital offer that is already in place in the service healthforwebsite, text messaging services, Accurx video consultation, Healthy Child app and social media provision.
- To scan the horizon and explore new and emerging digital technology which will support the delivery of services.
- Analysis, collate data and information and present for performance reporting purposes to demonstrate the benefits of digital delivery.

Leadership
Lead on the implementation of digital engagement and transformation for Healthy Child Programme 0-19 service embedding and maintaining existing technology and scoping new opportunities and innovations for children, young people and their parents/carers to take ownership of their health and well-being.
Work in partnership with the professional lead(s) and Care Group manager to lead on the planning and design, of digital products to support our response to key performance indicators.
- design engagement sessions with service users and stakeholders.
Identify and develop innovations in digital public health practice as an integral part of Healthy Child Programme 0-19 particularly in public health campaigns at community and neighbourhood level.
Organise own workload independently, prioritising a range of highly complex activities and responsibilities to ensure strong performance of Healthy Child Programme 0-19
Communication, Engagement and Working Relationships
Responsible for working with internal staff, internal and external partners to expand the reach and impact of the health promotion websites Healthforunder5's, HealthforKids and HealthforTeens and Walsall Healthy Child App and ChatHealth text services in a way that promotes the spread of effective public health messages for families, children and young people.
