Join the vibrant arts and culture scene in Tamworth as a Customer Service Assistant at the renowned Tamworth Assembly Rooms, operated by Tamworth Borough Council We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the arts and outstanding customer service skills to join our team.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a friendly and efficient service to customers seeking information on Tamworth or purchasing tickets for events at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms.
  • Processing ticket sales accurately and efficiently using our box office software system.
  • Assisting customers with enquiries, providing information about upcoming events, seating options, and venue facilities.
  • Handling cash and card transactions securely.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations during events.

We are looking for somebody with:

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills telephone, in person & written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Confident in the use of computer systems
    .
  • Previous customer service or box office experience is preferred but not essential.
Due to the nature of programming the workdays and times may vary from week to week.
