Office Administrator


We have a rare opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our busy team, based out of our new state of the art Head Office in Hessle.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a well-established proactive team and be part of our growing business. The successful applicant needs to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible. The role is office based.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for all departments including typing of letters, memos and general admin and assistance to the Office Manager.
  • Organise the outgoing mail and the ordering of mail supplies
  • Stock control of office stationary and refreshments.
  • Assistance with setting up of meetings and meeting spaces
  • Health and Safety responsibilities including fire alarm audits and ensuring general office compliance
  • Monitoring and cover of the reception area when required
  • Setting up employee profiles, keeping employee data up to date and collating key documentation
  • Administration of company vehicles

Requirements:

  • Confident at using all aspects of Microsoft office including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be proactive and identify the need for improved office procedures
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Good time management
  • Good organisational skills
  • Professional attitude and well presented
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different situations

This role is 37.5 hours per week, hours to be agreed in advance to ensure reception cover, but will be done between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
