A Data Operations Associate at PitchBook focuses on becoming proficient in core data areas and is responsible for various tasks to ensure accurate and timely data.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Become proficient in core data areas such as private equity, venture capital, M&A, or Institutional Investors
  • Utilize in-house databases and technology tools to audit and add data to the PitchBook Platform
  • Build relationships with industry professionals to enhance data accuracy and comprehensiveness
  • Drive email and call campaigns for gathering market data
  • Provide quality customer service and collaborate with internal teams
  • Work on improving processes, tools, and methodologies within the Data Operations department
  • Utilize feedback and reports to identify and solve data problems
  • Work closely with the Data Operations team in Mumbai for data accuracy
  • Communicate efficiently with team and stakeholders to provide updates
  • Support company vision through exemplary behavior
  • Participate in company initiatives and projects

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with urgency and deliver results
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Curious and positive attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
