You'll be joining the EMEA Regulatory legal team supporting the company's growing e-commerce business.You'll be advising on a broad range of regulatory matters including advising business teams on compliance in relation to new laws and regulations.
The role will include:
Supporting the e-commerce business on compliance with new and existing online platform, consumer, and product related legislation in the UK and across Europe (E.g DSA, Online Safety Bill, General Product Safety Regulation)
Supporting the review of new products and features against relevant law and guidanceEngaging with regulators, including those responsible for online platform, consumer, and product related regulation, with responsibility for ensuring the consistent and strategic handling of regulatory enquiries and investigationsAssessing risk and co-ordinating with the wider business as a trusted adviser on regulatory compliance and risk management issuesIdeally you will:
be a mid to senior Regulatory and Compliance lawyer with prior experience in a similar environmenthave experience dealing with UK and European regulatory matters affecting online marketplaces and platforms, consumer law, product lawhave experience in regulatory engagements and investigations in UK and Europehave good knowledge of EU and UK consumer law, product law, e-commerceThis assignment will be full time, starting as soon as possible, and is expected to run for at least 3 months.
