About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join our team in London. As a Risk & Compliance Lawyer, you will play a key role in supporting our colleagues in claims handling, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting senior staff in addressing strategic and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support colleagues in claims handling: You will work closely with our team to ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with our internal complaint procedures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders: You will communicate with various stakeholders regarding risk-related issues and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Assist senior staff: You will work closely with senior staff to address strategic and operational issues, providing expert advice on compliance and risk management.
  • Review regulatory queries: You will review queries relating to standards and regulations produced by various regulatory bodies, ensuring that our company is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Update policy writing procedures: You will update our policy writing procedures where necessary, ensuring that they are aligned with the latest regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues: You will work collaboratively with colleagues across different office locations to ensure that our company's risk management and compliance strategies are effective.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in law firm regulation, complaints handling, or commercial contracts. You will also need to have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
