Job Description

A forward-thinking, ambitious AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join their Risk & Compliance team in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has a background in law firm regulation, complaints handling, or commercial contracts, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support colleagues in claims handling, ensuring adherence to internal complaint procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding risk-related issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Assist Senior staff in addressing strategic and operational issues, including policy development and implementation.
  • Review queries relating to standards and regulations produced by various regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with AJ FOX COMPLIANCE's policies and procedures.
  • Update policy writing procedures where necessary, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure effective risk management and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years PQE in a relevant field, with a strong background in law firm regulation, complaints handling, or commercial contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
