As an Orthodontic Development Manager, your role will include:

  • Leading and coaching your teams to the best quality patient care, creating access and treatments to patient choice and meet patient needs
  • Responding to and diffusing issues and any escalated patient complaints
  • Working in partnership with your Clinical Support Manager and Clinical Director, building and nurturing collaborative relationships with the practice Clinical teams, always being proactive to retain Clinicians within mydentist
  • Recruiting, retaining, coaching and developing the area team, leading them to be high performing utilising all mydentist people procedures and supporting practice managers in effectively managing the KPI's that drive performance, ensure that effective action plans are in place to improve every practice's performance, utilise and interrogate management reports to support
  • Leading effective clinician recruitment and proactively support the onboarding process to minimise the impact on delivery
  • Ensuring excellent practice regulatory compliance and clinical standards in line with relevant regulations and
  • Monitoring and auditing all aspects of money management ensuring all financial processing are completed to specific deadlines including transmitting electronic claims daily (EDI) and that practice material ordering is managed to ensure there is no impact on the delivery of service
  • Ensuring your area is regularly maintaining mycomply and working closely with your Clinical Support Manager and Clinical Director

What skills do I need?

  • Multi-site operational management experience with a track record in growing performance and demonstrating strong leadership
  • Business acumen with the ability to analyse data and insight to make commercial decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted and effective relationships at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to coach and develop people
