An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior experienced, high performing nurse or midwife to join the team as a matron the Division of Maternity, Breast and Gynaecology.

We are looking for a dynamic motivated individual with a passion for quality improvement and the desire to make a difference to patients in our
care.


As a Quality Matron working in the division, you will demonstrate compassionate leadership and take responsibility for ensuring that your areas are driven to improve standards across the organisation.

The role is cross site between Hinchingbrooke and Peterborough Hospital. The main base will be Peterborough City Hospital but travel across sites will be expected.

The successful applicant will be supported to work across 2 Clinical Business Units - Breast/ Gynae and Maternity providing matron support to
the teams.

They will work with other Matron colleagues, Ward Sisters, Lead Nurses, Clinical Leads and other colleagues to identify service and

strategy developments which aim to deliver the highest quality of patient care, and maintain patient safety, in line with Trust aims and objectives.

Support the on-going improvement and sustainability of high quality, safe patient care through active involvement

This role is critically focused on patient experience, leading by example, motivating and empowering other staff. They will be highly visible and
accessible for patients, visitors and staff and will assist the Trust in achieving the strategic objectives and patient safety action plan
