Overview
Downham Home & Garden Store which is one of Norfolk's largest Home & Garden Centre retailers.

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to support our thriving Garden Centre.

Reporting to the General Manager the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of multiple departments within the centre.


What you'll be doing....

  • Reconciliation of invoices against delivery paperwork
  • Managing purchase order process
  • Completing all goods handling paperwork to be compliant with company policy
  • Correct availability of active lines by proactively working with the retail team
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting the retail team to set and maintain the correct weekly stock count
  • Working in collaboration with the retail team to effectively plan merchandise requirements in time for seasonal launches
  • Ensuring that the retail team follow the process for checking deliveries so that any discrepancies are found and noted on the Delivery Discrepancy Form.
  • Prioritising the effective use of the stockroom to sales floor process
  • Managing the returns procedure
  • Producing EPOS reports for management
  • General office administration
This list is not exhaustive and role holders will be expected to carry out any other tasks required by the Management team to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the Company
