About the Role
Hays Travel is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our successful teams in our branches. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to plan and book their holidays, utilizing your excellent product knowledge and sales skills to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Identify and meet customers' needs by providing personalized travel solutions.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and drive sales leads.
- Participate in promotional events and activities to increase exposure of the branch and drive sales.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch, including administrative duties and process adherence.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant.
- A proven sales record and excellent communication skills.
- Good accuracy and numerical skills, as well as enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Competent IT skills and a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
- Excellent travel product knowledge and sales and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
