**Estates Coordinator**

As an Estates Coordinator, you will have a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Glasgow office, creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for colleagues and visitors. Working closely with colleagues and contractors, you will oversee various aspects of day-to-day office activities, including security systems, storage facilities, and management of personal lockers. Your responsibilities will also involve maximizing the value of our office space and coordinating layout or usage changes, as well as managing incoming and outgoing post, stationery, first aid supplies, and office furniture.

This role will require independent work since the rest of the Estates team is based in London and Cardiff. While offering flexible working arrangements, the successful candidate should be present in the office five days a week. This position presents an exciting opportunity to join the expanding Glasgow office of the Estates team, allowing you to contribute to and shape Ofgem's operations in Glasgow.

**Person Specification**

  • Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues, the landlord, and service providers, ensuring a quality workplace environment and excellent customer service.
  • Provide front of house services, including reception duties and security pass management.
  • Handle daily tasks supporting colleagues, such as processing post, managing storage, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Support the wider Estates team as needed and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues through various channels.
  • Act as a First Aider and Incident Control Manager for the workspace.

**Essential Criteria**

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • First Aid and Incident Control Manager training.
