Tree Watering Operative

These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and are paying £10.60 (PAYE) or £13.28 (umbrella) per hour.
The working hours are Monday - Friday from 07:30 - 16:00.The role:
To undertake maintenance of newly planted trees including regular watering, weeding, checking ties and stakes, topping up mulch and any other related task as directed by supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:

- To undertake maintenance of newly planted trees including regular watering, weeding, checking ties and stakes, topping up mulch and any other related task as directed by supervisor.
- Carry out basic care and maintenance of the vehicle including checking fluid levels, tyre pressures and wear, bulbs etc. and to maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
- Able to complete all necessary paperwork, including site visit records and vehicle checks.
- Ensures the operation of any statutory or regulatory duty for the service area to comply with government legislation and/or regulatory duties.

Qualifications: N/A.

Experience: 2+ years working within an outdoor manual working environment.

Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
