Want to play a key role in the success of one of the world's most beloved heritage brands?

Are you a talented Category Manager who's ready to make an impact and drive results in a dynamic environment?

One of the world's biggest confectionery brands is looking for a talented Customer Category Manager to play a pivotal role in its Marketing team.

It'll be up to you to drive success within the impulse category through your analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and collaborative spirit. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting in-depth market analysis, identifying key opportunities and challenges, and assisting Key Account Managers in crafting customised customer plans.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive valuable partnerships with retailers, positioning the company as a key driver of category and sales growth.
  • Analyse performance within Impulse categories, comparing metrics with competitors to identify opportunities and challenges at the customer level.
  • Assist Key Account Managers in developing tailored customer plans based on thorough opportunity analysis.
  • Support contract negotiations with customers, ensuring all necessary elements are in place and tracking agreements meticulously.
  • Develop guidelines for strategic product placement within the Impulse category and provide feedback for optimisation.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling point-of-sale materials tailored for the Impulse channel.

About You:

  • We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in Category Management.
  • Proficient in market insight software such as Nielsen, Kantar, or Circana is highly valued.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG industry and managing in-store activities is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Ability to influence others and drive results through persuasion and motivation.
