Support Worker to young boy, 5 hours per week, Blyth - £10.

82 per hour:


We are looking to recruit a support worker to enable this little boy to access age appropriate leisure activities within the local community.

The child has good communication and comprehension but has no danger awareness. He can become overstimulated and if this occurs will need support with regulating his behaviour. Support with toileting and hygiene will be required.
Hours are flexible, ideally will be 1-2 hours one evening per week and 2-3 hours at a weekend

The successful applicant must:
- have experience and a positive understanding about children who have disabilities
- have a genuine interest in working with children with complex needs
- have a high degree of initiative
- be punctual and reliable as the child cannot be left unsupervised
- be flexible
- have a happy, positive and caring nature
- respect confidentiality

  • Car driver required and must be used insurance for business use.
