Position Title: Youth Support Assistant
We are looking for a compassionate Youth Support Assistant to provide assistance to a young individual with specific needs. The candidate will be responsible for delivering 6 hours of weekly support, which can be arranged flexibly.
The main duty involves guiding the young person in exploring local community resources and participating in recreational and social activities. Outdoor adventures are particularly favored, including nature walks.
Due to the individual's limited awareness of safety, especially in traffic situations, personal supervision is essential.
Position Details:
- Compensation: £13.09 per hour
- Weekly Commitment: 3 hours on designated days (flexible)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating social and recreational engagement
- Encouraging self-sufficiency
- Providing training on vital skills such as Personal Assistance Guidelines, Safety Protocols, Managing Challenging Behaviors, and Understanding Autism Spectrum Conditions
Transportation Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license
- Access to a personal vehicle
