Based in the heart of London, South West Six is a Fulham-based Afro-Caribbean Unisex hair salon. We provide a wide range of hair services, cosmetics, and advice. Our business is growing, and we are now looking for a Senior Receptionist to join our team.

Role Description:

  • Work as Head of our Receptionist Team. Focused on providing exceptional customer service by building rapport, sharing product knowledge and catering to customer needs.
  • Must work as a bridge between management and Junior receptionists. All receptionists must work as a bridge between clients and stylists/clients and the products we sell.
  • Welcoming customers as soon as they enter the salon, providing accurate information, and managing salon calendar effectively.
  • Take booking deposits, conduct sales, refunds and exchanges, helping the customer to find products if necessary an alternatively.
  • Selling, restocking and organising shelves, hosting clients intensively, you will be required to maintain the highest of retail standards.
  • Take social media content (videos, pictures), this media will help to build our social media presence.
  • Please ask for customer feedback, encourage transparency, and if a client is evidently unhappy, take extra measures to make sure they leave the salon satisfied.
  • Adapt to daily challenges. You may be required to work on different shift patterns.
  • Use your innovation to stay ahead of the latest trends, and take opportunities to learn and develop knowledge within the salon.
  • Follow health, safety and security procedures efficiently. Play an active role in preventing stock management.

About you:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Customer service and sales experience are required.
  • Experience leading a team is required. Must be able to motivate and support all members of staff.
  • Great communicator, and an active listener. Positively engage with all types of customers.
  • Knowledgeable in Afro/Caribbean Hair and maintenance of Afro/Caribbean Hair.
  • Wellpresented, mannered and polite.
  • Problemsolving, literacy and numeracy skills required.
  • You'll go above and beyond to resolve issues for all customers and be able to adapt your approach to each individual.
  • Works well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexible. Adaptable to business needs, you are happy and comfortable taking ownership of tasks that may go beyond the role expectation.

Pay:
£10.42-£11.44 per hour
