Crewing Officer

London Gatwick

Team

As a key part of Network Control and the Integrated Control Centre, you'll ensure continuous compliance with crew regulations to facilitate on-time global flight operations.

Liaising with diverse teams - from Cabin Services to Maintenance Operations - your expert roster planning/updating enables 24/7 safety, service quality, and traveller punctuality.

We need dedicated, precise problem-solvers to maximise resources in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced aviation specialists.

What you'll be doing

As a LGW-based Crewing Officer reporting to the ICC Senior Officer, you will manage 24/7 flight crew rosters - optimising for safety, compliance, on-time performance, cost-efficiency, and crew wellbeing by rapidly responding to operational needs with sound judgement.

Liaising between central and local teams, your ownership of the crewing lifecycle will realise operational stability through proactive planning, disruption management, standby coordination, and targeted communication.

We need resilient multi-taskers committed to realising our network-wide safety vision through policy adherence, risk vigilance, and the advancement of a positive safety culture.

Requirements of the Role

What you'll need to do the role:
We need someone who has experience in airline operations roles like crew management, flight operations, or cabin crew.

You should be great at quickly solving last minute crew changes while making sure employees stay happy and flights run on time.

Even when situations are stressful or unclear, you can use good judgment to make smart choices that follow airline rules.

Juggling different demands and tight timelines won't phase you because you know how to calmly lead teams, communicate clearly, and keep customers happy.

While you don't need to be an expert in European airline regulations or our flight planning systems, any background there is helpful.

Most of all, we want someone who enjoys making teamwork, progress, and passenger experiences better every single day. If that sounds like you, you'll tackle this busy job with ease

What you'll get in return

> Competitive base salary

> Up to 20% bonus

> 25 days holiday

> BAYE, SAYE & Performance share schemes

> 5% pension

> Life Assurance

> Flexible benefits package

> Excellent staff travel benefits

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Gatwick, and will be an average of fourteen shifts per 28 days, the shifts will be 12 hours shifts, comprised of dayshifts and night shifts.

We call that our 'Orange Spirit', and we hope you'll share that too.
