**The role**:
**Head of Flight Crew (HoFC)**

Are you interested in leading our Flight Crew team to new heights? We're seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Head of Flight Crew. In this key position, you will be responsible for overseeing all people management aspects of our Flight Crew, ensuring they perform at their best and contribute to our success. Additionally, you will have budget responsibility in coordination with our Finance Department.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead all people management elements of Flight Crew, fostering a high-performing, efficient, and motivated workforce.
- Design and implement measures and processes to achieve best practices and consistency in Flight Crew management.
- Contribute to the management and development of overall Flight Operations Department policy and strategy.
- Oversee, understand, and fulfil relevant BA and Euroflyer policies as specified by the Company in connection with the day-to-day management of pilot welfare and performance.
- Proactively monitor and influence budget control within the department.
- Participate in the fatigue management process on behalf of the Nominated Person Flight Operations.
- Collaborate with the People team in delivering wellbeing, recognition, and support initiatives.

**What you’ll bring to BA Euroflyer**:

- Ability to motivate and lead a team and involve others
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external customers
- Demonstrating excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrating good judgement when making decisions

**Your experience**:

- Experience of leading and managing a large team of people
- Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear, confident instructions
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
