What is a Volunteer
Café Assistant?

Helping out in our friendly and cosy cafe, either with preparing food or if you're not the most confident cook, helping to serve hot drinks, hot food and keeping the cafe clean and tidy
We are looking for someone who is ideally available on a weekday between the hours of 10.30am - 2.30pm once a week - which ever day works best for you

What you are gaining:

What is involved:

  • Support in the preparation and serving of hot and cold foods
  • Assist with stock rotation, labelling and pricing of menu items
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers
  • Help staff to complete general cleaning procedures in the kitchen and café area
  • Ensure tables and floors are clean and menus are available
  • Feedback any menu ideas from service users to relevant staff
  • Days and hours to be discussed and to work around you This is a voluntary role so there is no salary included.
