About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Singing for the Brain Support Volunteer. This rewarding role involves providing emotional support and encouragement to people with dementia during our structured group sessions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage with people with dementia, helping them feel at ease and included.
  • Provide encouragement and support to participants during the singing sessions.
  • Assist the session facilitator with activities, either online or in-person.

  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a willingness to listen and understand the needs of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
