We are in a period of growth, and it is an exciting time to join our team in Pangbourne, Berkshire.

With the customer at the heart of our business, we work as a team, to break boundaries and get things done to ensure Laura James delivers quality furniture day after day to our growing customer base.

Laura James has an opportunity for a marketing & ecommerce individual to join our team as an administrator/Ecommerce Assistant. The role will include adding listings to and maintaining our marketplace e-commerce platforms - specifically Laura James and Amazon.

This is a temporary role, starting July 2023 for approx. 2-3 months.

This would be perfect for a student or graduate looking for a summer position in a vibrant and growing business.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate a portfolio of products across all sales channels, taking accountability for bestselling products, including sales and revenue.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to keep marketplace catalogues up to date.
  • Create listings across platforms that will set us apart from our competition.
  • Write keyword optimised copy for both new and existing product listings.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure imagery and brand standards are maintained.
  • Ensure the efficiency of addressing A-Z claims or equivalent and understand the impact on marketplace account health.
  • Understand performance metrics across a range of accounts to help drive improved marketplace performances.

About You:

  • Good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Be willing to learn how to use new software.
  • A strong understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics and reporting.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate towards career development; you are keen to learn and grow.
  • Proactive, wellorganised, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to think on your feet with a cando attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
