About the role:
Working alongside academics from the Centre for Hate Studies and the School of Museum Studies, you will oversee a project commissioned by the Leverhulme Trust entitled '
The Rural Racism Project:
Re-storifying Life in the Countryside'.
You will work collaboratively and independently to achieve defined milestones within a project which generates new, co-produced knowledge about the nature, extent and impacts of racism experienced within the English countryside.
You will support the research team to achieve project aims, lead on communications with key stakeholders and help to maximise the reach and impacts of the research through a diverse range of dissemination activities.
About you:
With relevant experience in a similar role, you will be comfortable with project administration, budget management and event planning.
This is a key role which ensures the smooth running of the project and so we are looking for someone with great communication skills, the ability to prioritise their work and the work of others, whilst ensuring high standards are maintained.
Additional information:
We anticipate that interviews will take place on either 3 or 4 August 2023.
As part of the University's ongoing commitment to professional development, this role will also be considered on a seconded basis for existing staff members.
