Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the University of Leicester Recruitment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders across biomedical research to promote best practices in antibody choice and use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an awareness campaign to promote the importance of antibody selectivity in biomedical research
  • Facilitate the development of educational resources for the research community
  • Work with partner organizations, including institutional leadership, commercial companies, research funding organizations, and publishers to promote awareness of the issues
  • Coordinate the transfer of reagents from commercial partners for the wet lab team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a research or academic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of biomedical research and antibody development
