We are seeking a highly accomplished Associate Professor Research to join our esteemed School of Engineering at the University of Leicester. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for driving research and teaching activities in the field of biomedical and mechanical engineering.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Contribute to the development of our research portfolio in biomedical engineering, with a focus on impact, knowledge exchange, leadership, and citizenship.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Biomedical Engineering Group and other relevant research groups, such as the Mechanics of Materials (MoM) Group.
- Teach across our engineering programs and make significant contributions to our thought portfolio in biomedical engineering.
About You
We are looking for an exceptional individual with a PhD and an established international reputation as a scholar. You will have a proven track record of research and teaching achievement, with a strong publication history and a clear forward plan for your research.
As a seasoned academic, you will have experience in training and mentoring research students and building effective collaborative relationships. You will be committed to high-quality teaching and ensuring our students receive the best possible experience.
