About the Role

The Council for British Archaeology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Data and Projects Officer. This role will involve undertaking research on the current state of archaeological publications and communications in England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on the current state of archaeological publications and communications in England.
  • Analyse the data collected in an accessible manner.
  • Prepare a public report on the findings of the research.
  • Prepare and deposit the project archive with the Archaeological Data Service (ADS).
Requirements
  • Experience in conducting high-quality academic research.
  • Experience in planning, managing, and undertaking independent research, including designing surveys and conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups.
  • Experience in analysing qualitative and quantitative data and preparing written reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
