We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time Child & Adolescent Mental Health Clinician. This post is based in a multidisciplinary locality CAMHS Team. the team provides a service to children and young people within the geographical area of Lanarkshire. who present with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. These are well established multi disciplinary team including psychiatrist, clinical psychologists and CAMHC's. NHS Lanarkshire provides excellent opportunities for training and career development.

Be a Registered Nurse, AHP or Social Worker or be a qualified as a child trained Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) evidence of relevant experience and appropriate post registration training that fulfils the competences of this post

Evidence further education/evidence of continuous professional development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification.

Be educated to /operating at Masters Degree Level.


Be educated to or undertaking Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma Qualification level in an evidence based psychological therapy/appropriate intervention as recognised in the National Psychological Therapies Matrix for the intended client group.

Possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative.

Show excellent listening, communication, time-management and interpersonal skills.

Be proficient in the use of Microsoft IT Packages.
