  • IT Service Delivery Manager for with focus on US Offshore Wind
  • Ensuring business expectations are managed and delivered for IT Infrastructure end user facing services
  • Managing the provision of, and providing support for IT infrastructure topics e.g. Site setups, moves, or closures
  • Main point of contact locally for IT escalations and resolutions from senior stakeholders (primarily US Offshore Wind)
  • Monitoring and continually improving service level achievements
  • Leading/contributing in market facing activities, including any transition of IT service providers
  • Understanding Business and IT requirements, aligning them with RWE Group Policy to act as the general advisor for local IT requests
  • Initiating new IT Infra services and project ideas, driving through to conclusion in a timely manner
  • Continuously working on team-building and maintaining a high level of motivation and an overall productive atmosphere
  • Responsible for delivering IT end user services consumed by >20,000 RWE users globally in a sustainable and scalable way, utilising external service providers
  • Supporting the growth of the RWE Businesses in the US region, supporting key development projects and enablement of IT services to new RWE locations globally
  • Driving opportunities for IT infrastructure service improvements to address issues, reducing IT risks, maximising business efficiency and improving end user experience.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across central IT, Renewables IT and Business teams. Supporting customer engagement i.e. Business Service Reviews
  • Working closely with IT Procurement for commercial activities, including vendor selection and contract changes

*Role located in US with hybrid working, plus frequent travel to RWE &/or Supplier locations as required

  • Previous relevant experience in IT service related roles
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of ITIL Service Management functions including :
  • Major Incidents and Problem Management
  • Change & Release Management
  • Financial & commercial acumen with experience of managing 3rd party providers
  • Ability to drive change, thinking creatively 'outside the box' to deliver innovative and effective strategies and roadmaps that work end-to-end, and can be adapted as required
  • Influencing and working effectively in multiple cultures and at a range of levels
  • Ability to efficiently manage various and conflicting business demands
  • Demonstrable collaborative working style with outsourced partners
  • Managing stakeholders up to Executive level
  • Good communication skills in English (German beneficial)
  • Customer-centric and solutions orientated outlook
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Relationship management experience from an IT and/or business perspectives
  • Proven experience in working with Service Now & SAP
  • Proven ability to be innovative and creative
  • Experience of working in a variety of countries and cultures
