Location: Chieveley - Site-based
Contract: Permanent , Full-time – working hours 19:00 – 05:30
Responsibilities
As Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll carry out highways maintenance duties as instructed. Including winter maintenance when appropriate.
Your day to day will include:
- Respond promptly to incidents on the network as instructed.
- Responsible for notification to Network Control Centre on commencement and end of winter maintenance and occupation of Roadspace for Traffic Management
- When trained to do so operate a variety of plant and equipment in order to carry out required duties effectively
- Work in close cooperation with team members and subcontractors, contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment for both the network users and work team by ensuring compliance all H&S procedures
