About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team at Appetite 4 Recruitment. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our pub operations and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality food and drink offerings.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability and meet business targets.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a restaurant or pub environment, with a minimum of 12 months in a progressive capacity.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Good understanding of business operations, including finance, marketing, and human resources.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
