Location:

applicants will need to be based within the UK and will be expected to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the role.

Much of the post holder's work may be delivered from their own location remotely with occasional meetings in London and Liverpool.


The RCP is a patient-centred and clinically led organisation whose core mission is to improve patient care and reduce illness.

The Care Quality Improvement Directorate supports the RCPs strategic aim to improve care for patients.

It utilises a variety of methods and approaches to drive improvements in activities, influences the quality of clinical practice via ambitious work programmes that are delivered via constituent teams.


The QPIDS accreditation programme, hosted by the CQID at the RCP, was established in 2015 and is designed to support all immunodeficiency services in the UK and the Republic of Ireland to achieve accreditation standards.

In collaboration with key stakeholders including representatives from the UKPIN, national programmes of care, clinical reference groups and immunodeficiency patient organisations, QPIDS promotes change and improvement in immunodeficiency services, whilst also providing assurance to patients, managers, referrers and commissioners about the quality of service provided
