WHAT TO EXPECT

Our people are at the heart of delivering JLR's Global Reimagine Strategy, and Resource Management has become a key area of focus for JLR's Information & Digital Technology (I&DT) function as resources are in high demand.

As part of I&DT's Digital Transformation organisation, the Resource Management team's primary focus is to utilise the resources available and allocate them to the right initiatives to help deliver the maximum benefit to JLR.

You will be supporting the wider I&DT organisation, owning resource processes, providing guidance and facilitating workforce planning, as well as advising and guiding managers and team members.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Defining, implementing and embedding resource management policies, processes and tools to optimise resource allocation to critical priorities Supporting the maintenance of accurate resource master data, including current and future allocations using clear and effective resource management processes and the Enterprise Project & Programme Management (EPPM) tool, Planview Creating management information for key stakeholders, with regard to assignments, over/under utilisation and demand forecasting Working with our strategic partner to quality assure the engagement process and escalate issues that require management or vendor management intervention Designing, developing and maintaining knowledge management and eLearning solutions – , best practice guidelines and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience of working in a resource management role, with a good knowledge of recruitment processes; ideally with workforce planning, process mapping and development skills Exceptional analytical skills supported by advanced communication and presentation skills – used to translate I&DT resource related issues for operational teams Have the ability to develop effective relationships and influence outside of your direct responsibility, including senior stakeholders and external vendors To be an organised and effective team player who is keen to work collaboratively and able to see the bigger picture
