We are seeking individuals who can complement and develop a stable, highly-motivated and person-focused team as Deputy Care and Support Manager. We are eager to find somebody who shares our values and supports our mission for a world where each person is appreciated and accepted for their unique abilities.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will be a confident and outgoing manager who will support us with the recruitment, transition and admission of new residents, supervising and developing talent within our exceptional care and support team, ensuring that the service continues to provide high quality care and support and helping us to introduce new systems into our work. You'll be a confident IT user and a proactive self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team to meet targets and to seek out and create new opportunities for the charity to grow and extend our reach including the assessment, transition and admission of new residents. You'll be prepared to work hands on where needed including supporting our houses and getting involved in a range of community events.
You will ideally have a relevant professional qualification at Level 5 or above in social care, or hold professional registration as an RGN/Occupational Therapist or similar. You will have at least 3 years of experience in a management role within social care, either in a similar role or you'll be a Team Leader with the calibre and motivation to progress. You will have experience of working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities and other related conditions and have a strong track record of success with providing person-centred outcomes.
