CapitalNurse (CN) Health Education England is seeking to recruit a Project Support Officer to support the delivery of Qualification in Specialism (QiS) work programmes.


The post holder will be working in partnership to:

  • Collect, analyse and manipulate data and information, including investigating and documenting issues and solutions, as part of compiling high quality reports for senior managers.
  • Make informed, timely and effective decisions with mínimal guidance, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information, and consulting with others when appropriate
  • Monitor and report project or programme progress in a variety of ways including standard reporting tools (dashboards, highlight reports etc.) within the agreed timescales and to the organisation's standards
  • Collate and communicate complex information within the scope of the role's responsibilities, e.g., high quality reports and information about the project or programme to a range of internal and external stakeholders in a variety of different formats, within challenging deadlines.
  • Work flexibly and well under pressure by planning and organising to cater for peaks and troughs in workloads, whilst planning and managing multiple tasks.
  • Work in a way that complies with legislation and organisation policies and procedures on health, safety and risk management.

Health Education England (HEE) CapitalNurse (CN) is a programme of work being delivered through collective action across London, belonging to all nurses in the capital.

The CapitalNurse vision is to 'get nursing right for London'; ensuring that London has the right number of nurses, with the right skills in the right place', working to deliver excellent nursing care wherever it is needed.


CapitalNurse was established in July 2015 and is jointly led by Health Education England and NHS England and NHS Improvement.


CapitalNurse is seeking to recruit a Senior Project Lead to deliver CapitalNurse Qualification in Specialism (QiS) programmes and the coordinating of activities, identifying best practice standards and engaging with stakeholders to develop, deliver and implement a regional sustainability plan.


The post holder will be working in partnership to:
Communication responsibilities

  • Collate and communicate complex information within the scope of the role's responsibilities, e.g., high quality reports and information about the project or programme to a range of internal and external stakeholders in a variety of different formats, within challenging deadlines.
Analytical & Judgement
