The Purpose:


We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Vertical Sales team, helping enterprise customers to transform by harnessing the power of our 'One Google Experience' vision.

This role is critical to underpinning our growth aspirations and will provide the 'engine room' for building the next wave of strategic accounts for the business.


As an Account Director, you'll be motivated to deliver Digital Transformation through solving the business problems which matter to our clients, underpinned by Google solutions including Cloud Security, Cloud Infrastructure Modernisation, Data Analytics, Martech, Digital Solutions, Workspace and Application Development.


You'll identify, develop and close opportunities in a defined set of accounts aligned to a specific Vertical Market sector with the aim of meeting and exceeding customers' business expectations and objectives.

The assigned Enterprise accounts will all be defined by the characteristics of being 5000+ employees and annual revenues of $1B +.

Our clients are ambitious organisations with a desire to lead in their industries.

We serve them with complex enterprise solutions delivered through an agile, lightweight design approach leveraging the best of Google's platforms.


The Role of Account Director:

This is a high visibility role offering an unparalleled opportunity to deliver impactful business outcomes to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a longterm growth strategy for your accounts including thorough account planning, developing key stakeholder relationships and pursuing business development opportunities on your accounts that align with this growth strategy.
  • Drive targeted customer engagements with executives and technology leaders bringing a unique and well thought out perspective to deliver tangible and quantifiable business impact.
  • Exceptional pipeline and forecasting management with rigorous opportunity qualification using the MEDDICC framework.
  • Develop strong CxO client relationships to enable CTS to drive high business impact engagements for our clients.
  • Orchestrate the introduction of different stakeholders from the business to their peers to expand our relationships and engagement.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop account based marketing strategies to grow our share of wallet and open up new areas of opportunity in your accounts
  • Collaborate closely with Google to build strong relationships with your peers on the account so that we can carve out the niches where we will work together, achieve preferred partner status by Google and secure PSF to support our ambitions
  • Proactive approach to your own personal development, training and enablement
  • Support junior team members with best practice and being a team player
  • Be proactive in our drive towards social progress and positive impacts, supporting our status as a B Corporation.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Drive a net revenue services target (tracked Quarterly) from your defined accounts.
  • Take ownership of our major professional/managed services deals, orchestrating the involvement of specialists and executive sponsorship at the right time to win the deal.
  • Proactively generate, qualify and close new business within the existing target customer base.
  • Develop and build targeted account plans, resulting in a robust business growth pipeline.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence longterm strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure retention and growth in spend
  • Develop close working relationships with your counterparts at Google to build joint strategic account plans and agree the areas where we will work together to drive success and alignment.
  • Lead and manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with crossfunctional teams as required.
