Our client, based in the heart of Edinburgh are on the market for an immediate start to hire a full time Finance Officer to join their team, as they continue to grow.


Working in a small, hands on Finance team this is a real varied role and we would LOVE to hear from experienced industry professionals.


What will you be doing?

  • Supporting with the transfer of the company software system from outsource to inhouse
  • Assisting the FD with implementation, process and operate the new platform
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Reconcile ledger statements
  • Ensure compliance with VAT legislation
  • Monitoring and managing creditors
  • Liaising with and supporting suppliers with queries
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Employee expense processing
  • Banking and cash flow management
  • Monthly payroll along with monthly management accounts.

  • Immediately available, this role is a contract for 6 months with the opportunity to become permanent
  • Proven track record of working hands on in a busy Finance team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Great team player
  • Confident in working on Excel including preparing financial reports on the platform
  • Accounting software, ideally Xero however this is not essential.
