Job Title: Assistant MITC Partnership Manager (National)

Reports to: MITC Partnership Manager (National)

Location: Hybrid; Lord's Cricket Ground, London, various venues around Middlesex

Up to 50% of role will be spent coaching

Administrative days to be completed at an MITC office

Contract Term: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

Purpose of the Job:

You will play an important role in ensuring that there is a comprehensive cricket offer accessible across the county for any young person aged over 5 years and create sustainable partnerships with local authorities, community organisations and other sporting bodies to ensure we have a comprehensive community offer across the City.

To undertake the duties below alongside the MITC Partnership Manager who has responsibility for the following areas and partnerships:

Manage Facilities, Pitch Support Network, National Programmes, Umpire Education.

This role requires an average of 50% community coach delivery and 50% administrative support to the MITC Partnership Manager.

Administrative Support

  • Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with their duties
  • Work with schools and clubs within the areas specified above
  • Inspire children and teachers to be excited about cricket
  • Actively support the transition between schools, clubs and community offers
  • Assist clubs in creating and maintaining a safe hands for children environment
  • Assist with the ClubMark portal
  • Assist with Coach Education and the Coach Development offering
  • Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with facility development including assisting the pitch support network and maintain up to date records.
  • Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with the activities of the Facilities Advisory Panel.
  • Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with the National Programme roll out.
  • Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with the ClubSpark Programme.
  • Organise and deliver school competitions
  • Support the MJCA in their deliver of junior cricket
  • To organize and deliver coaching sessions in Infant, Primary, Secondary schools, Colleges and Universities across Middlesex.
  • Lead on the delivery of All Stars and Dynamo's cricket sessions.
  • To use assemblies as a tool to spread the power of cricket to a larger audience.
  • To link all school and community activity to exit routes whether traditional or non-traditional.
  • To umpire and score at all Middlesex school and community competitions.
  • To assist MITC Partnership Managers &Community Coaches with club development projects & events.
  • To support the delivery of MITC team community events and Middlesex Cricket match day activation.
  • To coach on Chance to Shine Street programmes across the County.
  • To assist & lead coaching at Street Hubs across Middlesex as directed by the MITC Partnership Managers.
  • To coordinate with the MITC Partnership Manager & deliver National Programmes.
  • To champion Middlesex Crickets participation offers to our key stakeholders and at engagement events
  • To be able to articulate Middlesex Cricket offers to key stakeholders.

Community Coaching

  • Deliver on C2S sessions (schools, street) and other community sessions as appropriate
  • Ensure high standards of coaching across all MITC delivery.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Good organisation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Ability to build and create new relationships.
  • Be enthusiastic about the programmes and content being delivered.
  • Promote Middlesex and Middlesex in the Community and other initiatives that the club offers as and when appropriate.
  • Be self motivated and have the ability to motivate others.
  • Good IT skills and experience of using MS Platforms.
