Payroll Administrator at a Leading Company

Join us as a Payroll Administrator where you'll contribute to the smooth payroll processing of a large workforce spread across multiple payrolls.

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Contract: Permanent, full time, with a mix of remote and office work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data input of employee details
  • Validation of information submitted by employees and managers
  • Ensuring accurate payroll processing and verification of statutory payments and deductions
  • Handling absence records and calculating various types of payments
  • Supporting ad hoc projects as necessary

What we are looking for:

  • Solid numerical and literacy skills, along with GCSE Maths and English qualifications
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in high-volume Payroll (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong team player with integrity and discretion
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and dedicated to delivering excellent service
  • Ability to handle changes proactively with a positive mindset
  • Strong prioritization and deadline management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In progress or completed CIPP Foundation Degree (desirable but not required)
