Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at EA First Ltd. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for a range of clients, including BACs payment processing, direct client contact, and payroll query resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage BACs payments and resolve any related queries
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing
  • Assist and supervise junior staff, as required
  • Stay up-to-date with all areas of end-to-end payroll, including auto-enrolment pensions, statutory payments, and HMRC legislation

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Competent in the use of IT, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
