Key Responsibilities:


As a GP's Administrators, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient support and ensuring a seamless experience.


Your main responsibilities will include:

Taking Inbound Calls:

  • Answering and managing a high volume of incoming calls from patients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensuring prompt and efficient handling of patient inquiries and concerns.

Booking Appointments:

  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
  • Coordinating appointment times that work best for both patients and the healthcare providers.

Providing Information and Updates:

  • Offering patients accurate information about our services, procedures, and general healthcare guidance.
  • Keeping patients informed about any updates, changes, or relevant information regarding their appointments or healthcare needs.

Logging Detailed Notes:

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of each patient interaction, including notes on their concerns, appointments, and special requests.
  • Ensuring that patient information is kept confidential and secure.

Answering Patient Queries:

  • Addressing patient queries and concerns, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Escalating complex issues or medical concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle high call volumes.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to assist patients in their healthcare journey.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare support role is a plus.
