  • We are delighted this year to be able to offer a 12week Summer Internship from June to September 2023, specialising in Research & Innovation.
  • What might life look like as a Research & Innovation Intern?
  • Scottish Water's Summer Internship scheme will give you a taste of what it feels like to work in one of the largest water companies in the world.
  • The role location will be split between our Glasgow (Stepps) and Edinburgh (Fairmilehead) offices, with some time working from home.
  • As a Research & Innovation Intern, you will learn about influencing research and innovation in a large organisation. You will contribute to meeting Scottish Water's strategic objectives
  • Transforming our emissions and Embracing the Circular Economy, whilst having the opportunity to meet innovation professionals across the industry.
  • You may be involved in:


Data analysis-
  • Report writing-
  • On site technology calibration-
  • Health & Safety, security & wellbeing awareness
  • You will be studying towards a degree in a science-based discipline and be confident with a wide range of Microsoft packages.
