This respected offshore law firm is keen to bolster its Bermuda-based dispute resolution practice with the addition of an experienced commercial litigation lawyer. It is an opportunity to join an impressive team advising on a broad range of contentious work spanning insolvency, banking, regulatory, and data protection, as well as high-value commercial/contractual matters.

You will be involved in conducting cases at various levels of court so you will need to be a proven advocate and you will possess strong drafting, opinion writing, and legal research skills. You will also play an active part in the firm's business development efforts, so confidence in both a marketing and client management capacity is essential.

Taking a lead role on some high-quality and complex matters as part of a friendly and growing team, this is a strong move for someone seeking to fast-track their development whilst enjoying a complete change of lifestyle outside of the office.

Process

Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically around 4-6 months later (depending on your notice period). Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas and relocation.

Package

Competitive salary, low tax rate, benefits, bonus, and relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance).

Requirements

It is expected that the role will suit a UK/Commonwealth-qualified barrister or solicitor with higher rights, who has around 5-8 years' relevant experience in commercial disputes. Applicants outside of that range are welcome to apply but note that 3 years' pqe is required for work permit reasons.
