We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our team to work in respiratory medicine alongside world class multidisciplinary team colleagues.


We are looking to recruit an individual on a permanent basis who has an interest in developing their knowledge and skills in working with respiratory patients both within the inpatient and outpatient setting.

The post will cover a varied caseload across the spectrum of respiratory diseases, including acute management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease and other conditions affecting the respiratory system such as motor neurone disease.

There will be opportunity to work closely alongside the well-respected respiratory multidisciplinary team including consultant physicians, clinical nurse specialists and fellow allied health professionals


This role provides the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in managing more complex patients with the support of the Nutrition Team and wider Dietetics service.

The post will include covering the respiratory inpatient ward areas including enhanced care and ventilated patients and providing outpatient services as required to the respiratory population (face to face, telephone and virtual).


You will work closely with an experienced and highly knowledgeable team of Dietitians and established expert multidisciplinary teams with excellent senior support.

You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and supervisory skills and gain experience and training in the support of Student Dietitians on placement within our team as well as Dietetic Assistants and newly qualified Dietitians.


Our work is well-respected by colleagues across our organization, with close working links between Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy and our national award-winning Nutrition Nurse service.

We also work closely with our community counterparts, with a focus on seamless and high quality patient care.

You must be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, in a busy acute environment, as part of a team and as an autonomous practitioner

You would join a team of over 40 experienced and forward-thinking Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants and Administrative staff.

We are committed to the continuing professional development of our team and will provide you with structured competency-based learning and development opportunities as part of your role, including opportunity for service development, group education and clinical audit experience.

We also encourage peer-supervision and are devoted to your wellbeing, with a number of Trust initiatives available to support staff.
