Facilities Operative (School Janitor) - Mears FM

Permanent position
  • Full time 40 Hours Per Week £23,166.00 per annum_

The role will involve:
We are looking for a Facilities Operative who will be responsible for janitorial duties in the School. The role will predominantly be based at Drummond School. A reliable, self-sufficient, problem solver who works well under pressure and is adaptive to change.

Responsibilities include:

  • Opening and securing the buildings for core hours
  • Monitoring contractors on site
  • Maintaining the school buildings and grounds
  • Supporting the building users with daytoday requests including porterage and churn
  • Legislative daily, weekly, monthly building checks
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Maintaining swimming pool and associated plant (A pool plant operator course will need to be successful completed within your probation period.)

What you must have:

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Flexible approach to hours, but generally 07: Monday
  • Friday
  • Excellent communication skills
