Hey there Fancy joining a buzzing, fast-growing team? We're on the lookout for a tech-savvy, customer-centric dynamo to jump aboard our Operations Team as a General Admin Assistant.


The Role
In this cracking role, you'll be the go-to for day-to-day admin, supporting our Operations Managers.

While you'll mostly be office-based, sometimes you'll have the chance to roll up your sleeves and help prep our fabulous properties for our guests.


Your Daily Duties Will Include:

Assisting the Operations Management and Supervisor in daily tasks, including, but not limited too:

  • Uploading new properties to our own and partner platforms
  • Managing and responding to guest reviews (with your topnotch charm, of course)
  • Using AI tools to help write review responses and listings
  • Tasking and organising maintenance jobs and planned maintenance schedules with the maintenance team.
  • Dealing with third party contractors and suppliers, ensuring deadlines are on target for jobs
  • Calling contractor leads on a weekly basis and keeping a database of these to follow up
  • Sending weekly eflyers via our systems
  • Mentoring our oversea's guest support team and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely fashion
  • Helping with the linen operation as & when required
  • Communicating with our housekeeping teams and reviewing and improving standard
  • Actioning handover notes & tasks
  • Taking notes at management meetings
  • Overseeing utility readings and accounts.
  • Expense receipts reconciliation
  • Making sure property audits are booked and completed.
  • Handling admin for our van/car fleet, including services, MOTs, and sorting out any parking fines.
  • Verifying thirdparty provider invoices before passing them to accounts.
  • Ordering supplies for properties through thirdparty providers.
  • Any other tasks that the business requires as the business evolves, dependant on season.

We welcome over 30,000 guests to Brighton and beyond every year, and we're rapidly expanding Our trendy waterside office is near Hove Lagoon, just a 15-minute stroll from Portslade train station.


Who Are We Looking For?
You should have solid computer skills, ideally on Apple Mac, as we're an Apple-loving business.

Exceptional spoken and written English is a must, given you'll interact with guests, property owners and suppliers in person, on the phone and digitally.

You should be a self-starter who can think on your feet, work well in a team and working solo.


You will be someone who who has great time management, finds juggling lots of different tasks at the same time a breeze and can prioritise those tasks easily.

If you've got an interest in property, travel, and the local quirks of Sussex, that's a big bonus. You'll often need to visit our owners properties, so being able to drive is essential.

Can you Drive?


You will need to leave the office to go to properties regularly, therefore, you will be able to drive, have an almost clean licence, with a maximum of 3 points and be over 21, so we can insure you on company vans/cars, which you will be driving to and from our properties regulary.


Working Hours hours per week


Your normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, however, some weekend work and earlier starts and later finishes will occasionally be required to meet the business needs.

We're open on public and bank holidays (except Christmas Day), but you can use your holiday allowance if you fancy the day off on these days.


We are a hospitality business so we are busier when most of our guests are on holiday, therefore taking holiday time off in school holidays is not normally possible.
