Long-Term Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated cover supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students in various educational settings, including special educational needs schools.

Duties:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons from the class teacher, giving students clear instructions to remain on task
  • Maintain behaviour in line with the schools policies, allowing students to remain focused on their work
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Be flexible in a busy school environment
  • Display good literacy, numeracy and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in education is preferred
  • Familiarity with special educational needs and understanding of strategies to support young people
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of young people
  • Able to communicate effectively with students, staff and relevant professionals
