Area Manager for Children Homes

We are looking for an Area Manager to oversee 5 Children Homes in the South Ribble area. In this role, you will play a key role in the care planning and risk management strategies for children, providing essential feedback for their progress.

Job Details:

  • Salary: Up to £55000 per year
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible hours
  • Benefits:

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Contribute to care planning and risk management strategies
  • Provide feedback for individual children's progress
  • Work across multiple homes in the South Ribble area

Qualifications:

  • NVQ 3 Children and Young People or equivalent
  • NVQ 4 Management
  • CMS, DMS equivalent or working towards
  • Professional Care Qualification (DipSW, CMS, CQSW, Registered Manager's Award)
  • Diploma 5 Leadership & Management Children & Young People

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a managerial role in children's residential care
  • Staff/team management experience
  • Budget management and reporting skills
  • Leadership and motivation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
